History

In the 1960s a Persian/Angora mixed cat named Josephine gave birth to two litters and all of today's ragdolls descend from these.

Care and Health

This breed has a low-maintenance coat, except for in spring shedding season when they need daily brushing.

Fun Fact

This breed gets its name from the fact that they go limp when you pick them up.
