History

Exact origins unknown. This breed came from crossing the Dachshund and the boston terrier.

Care and Health

The Bo-Jack is easy to groom with their short, hard coat and will only need to be brushed with a hard bristle or wire brush once or twice a week. They only need to be bathed if absolutely necessary because they stay pretty clean due to their waterproof coat. It is best not to shampoo them too often because it depletes the oils from the skin that they need to keep their hair and skin healthy. Their ears need to be cleaned and checked for earwax, dirt, and debris about once a week. Also, you should brush their teeth a few times a week to prevent dental issues.

Fun Fact

The Bo-Jack is an energetic dog, a hybrid mix between a Boston Terrier and a Jack Russell.
