History

The origin of this breed can be traced to the Magyar horde over a thousand years ago. This was a nomadic tribe in Central Europe that settled in Hungary.

Care and Health

Common health problems may include eye and stomach problems. Daily vigorous excercise needed. Minimal grooming required.

The Vizsla were honed for the fine arts, testing, pointing, retrieving and sniffing.
