History

They originated in the United States around 2009. The chizer is a mixed dog breed originating in the United States of America. Chizers are a mix of the Chihuahua and the miniature schnauzer.

Care and Health

The Chizer doesn't require a lot of grooming. Seasonal flea treatment is needed, but cutting the dog's hair by a professional groomer isn't necessary. Ears and eyes should be cleaned regularly to avoid infections. Chizer is a good choice if you don't have the time, skill or money to take care of a high maintenance dog. Very healthy dog breed. The Chizer rarely meets with the veterinarian.

Fun Fact

The chizer breed does not like the cold, and does not cope well in cold temperatures, mostly due to its small stature; therefore, this makes it difficult to train these dogs to go to the bathroom outside, as most chizer’s tend to be paper or pad trained.
